The following are some Frequently Asked Questions about donuts, donut machines and processes:

1. I am interested in buying a donut machine, but I don’t understand the differences between each types featured in your website. How would I know which one is right for my needs?

The donut machines vary in production capacity – smaller shops and bakeries start with a “retail” type donut fryer such as the Belshaw Donut Robot Mark II, which can produce 42 dozen donuts per hour. A Mark VI model, on the other hand, produces 112 dozen donuts per hour. There are also models for mini-donuts only as well as full production lines such as Century Donut Production System for commercial and industrial production requirements. Please contact us directly for more information.

2. I would like to open a donut shop. Where can I get information about operating this type of business?

A thorough research about the industry you are interested in and the current market situation will help you identify the opportunities and challenges in this business. You should be able to come up with a business plan and equip yourself with as much knowledge of the target market and the product you are going to offer. A visit to business.gov.au  and the Business Enterprise Centres website will be a good starting point.
